Marion Bay Ocean Safari is operated by the owner / operator team that have been operating Reef Encounters Fishing Charters since 1998. Reef Encounters Fishing Charters are highly experienced having operated in the local area for over 23 years and are a multi-award winning and tourism accredited business. After many years of receiving requests to undertake nature-based tourism experiences the decision was made in January 2020 to launch another arm of the business with Marion Bay Ocean Safari.

A detailed safety procedure manual in place which includes passenger briefings, emergency procedures, risk management and safety equipment. The “Vixen” is equipped with more than the minimum required safety equipment including a 16-man life raft.
